If you’ve thought about cloth diapering, this may be the time.  I’m working with Just Simply Baby cloth diapers because – well, they’re excellent quality, half of the price of most diapers, and have a very nice website.  (Kawaii is a little cheaper – and I like them very much as well, but Just SImply Baby has cuter prints and better variety!)

So far our cloth diapering adventure has been so successful and I wish everyone would give it about a month to see what you think!  We broke even financially at 6 weeks and now we’re saving money on diaper changes every day.

(Granted, it’s because I’ve been scouring the internet for great deals, re-selling ones that weren’t my favorite, and just generally being a cheapskate.  But I’m not going to apologize for that!)

My recommendation would be about 10 diapers if you’re just planning to experiment.  This is what we started with because I was not sure if we would like it.  Now that we’re committed I’m slowly increasing our stash to about 25 diapers and we wash every three days or so.
