Tornado Alley

Whooeee!

Let me tell you, when it rains, it pours!  Today I had to take back all of my snarky comments about weathermen because right after dinner the tornado sirens went off and we high-tailed it to the tornado shelter for a few hours, listening intently to the radio and those weather guys making predictions and telling us what was happening in the surrounding counties.

At the end of the day (or storm, as it is) we’re all alive, the kids got sugared up on cookies and we spent several hours in a tornado shelter with several of our previous co-workers who didn’t know quite what to say to us in the transition time we are going through.  Recipe for fun, fun, fun!

I tried to upload the video I took of the clouds moving but for some reason my cell phone is having a hissy fit and won’t allow me to share the file.  I think it’s getting back to me for when Tres dropped it on the road trip and it busted apart at the seams.

I put it back together, so I don’t know what the problem is…

That’s all for tonight – have a good one and stay clear of the tornados!
